2D animation and motion design project developed for Migranodearena through production company Momo, explaining how the platform works using animated characters and everyday situations.
Migranodearena is a solidarity crowdfunding platform that allows anyone to create sports challenges and raise funds for social causes. The mechanism is straightforward, but it needed a piece that could communicate it clearly, accessibly, and with an emotional connection to its audience.
Production company Momo handled the overall project direction, including script and voice-over. The animation brief was to translate that script into a visual piece that would serve as a permanent communication tool for the platform.
The directorial decision was to build the story through illustrated characters acting out real-life situations on the platform.
A vibrant, high-contrast colour palette was defined, aligned with the optimistic and approachable tone the platform needed to convey. The visual language aimed to be direct and accessible, avoiding graphic complexity so the focus remained on the message at all times.
The project was developed in phases:
Music and sound effects were produced by Matías Núñez, completing the sonic dimension of the project.
